The A1 Trust is pleased to announce that following rectification work at Meiningen in Germany, Tornado's boiler has been re-installed in the locomotive's frames and successfully steam tested to the satisfaction of boiler inspectors John Glaze (on behalf of the VAB) and Alan Ratcliffe (on behalf of the insurers).  The dedicated team of fitters responsible for this incredibly rapid work will now continue with the re-assembly of the locomotive and the completion of her repainting in BR brunswick green.
