The A1 Trust has established a Legacy Giving facility......

Now that Tornado is with us, we want to secure the locomotive into the future. We have also commenced a Feasibility Study to evaluate whether we should proceed at some stage to build a sister locomotive, a P2. Other development ideas may well be pursued in due course.

We have been asked on occasion in the past if a Legacy Programme could be established, but our attention was always focused on immediate cash generation to get Tornado on the Main Line. Now that we have accomplished that, we do now want to establish a Legacy Giving process.

Legacy Giving is leaving a final donation for Tornado and the Trust when your days on this earth are finally at an end. Such a donation can be any amount at all, big or small; it can be dedicated to Tornado or to Trust activities in general; it can be anonymous or public. The choices would be entirely yours.

Such decisions are very personal and so we guarantee confidentiality throughout the entire process, if you decide to go ahead. We have appointed a dedicated Legacy Manager who is a professional and who knows how to handle confidential matters such as these. The process is really straight forward, especially if you already have a Will.

For those who would like their Legacy to be public after it is pledged, we propose establishing ‘The Guild' - a Register of supporters who have decided to establish a Legacy to continue the excellent work that was started back in 1991 and has gathered pace and steam since then. It would be our intention to arrange concessions and events for members of ‘The Guild'.
