Contractors and volunteers of the A1 Trust put in a good day's work to ensure that Tornado's repaired boiler was returned to her frames the same day it arrived back at York from DB Meiningen. The immaculate pressure vessel was rapidly craned off its low-loader and re-positioned in 60163's frames following remedial work in Germany. Everything is still on schedule for a steam test next week and for a return to traffic in May. To view a video by the York Press click here
