Tornado will be operating throughout the Severn Valley Railway Autumn Gala Weekend on September 23rd, 24th & 25th.  In addition to these dates there will be a number of dining opportunities with travel behind Tornado on Thursday 22nd September as follows:

Restaurant Car Service

A dining train, hauled by Tornado will depart Kidderminster station at 12.40pm for a leisurely journey to Bridgnorth and return. During the journey you will be served a two course lunch and, on the return, afternoon tea with scones and clotted cream will be served.  During the day you will have lots of opportunities to take photographs with Tornado both at Kidderminster and Bridgnorth.

The cost of this experience is £28.00 dining + £20.00 train travel.

Observation Saloons - daytime

Why not hire one of two comfortable observation saloons which will be attached to the 12.40pm departure from Kidderminster, hauled by Tornado, for one round trip to Bridgnorth. Each saloon accommodates up to 23 persons and a range of catering options are available to suit every taste and pocket. Either on the outward or the return journey your saloon will be right behind the locomotive.  Hire of the saloon guarantees exclusive use for your group of up to 23 people and is an ideal experience for a family celebration or a business opportunity.  The cost of hiring one of our saloons on this date is £800 + catering as booked.

Observation Saloon - evening

For the ultimate train travel experience you, and your group, can have Tornado all to yourself for an evening!  Tornado will haul one of our comfortable observation saloons from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth and return.  You and your group will sit right behind the engine in both directions and will be able, not only to see the lovely scenery as it goes by, but also watch this magnificent locomotive as its crew take you along the line. There will be no other carriages in the train!  Hire of the saloon guarantees exclusive use for your group of up to 23 people and is an ideal experience for a family celebration or a business opportunity. Apart from crew and catering stewards there will be no other people on the train.  The cost of hiring the saloon on this evening is £1500 + catering as booked.
