The North Norfolk Railway will be offering footplate experience courses during Tornado's visit in September.  Provisionally September 3rd, 8th and 9th have been set aside for this activity.  Contact the North Norfolk Railway for further details here.

North Norfolk Railway – 31st August, 1st and 2nd September 2012

Driver Experience - £650.00

Complete a round trip of nearly 11 miles on the regulator. The price includes day rover tickets for the participant and up to six guests. Special trains are timetabled for this opportunity, departing at 9.00am, 4.25pm or 5.50pm from Sheringham.

Fireman Experience - £500.00

The North Norfolk Railway is also offering a round trip on the shovel. This will be on the same trains as the driver experience and will again include a day rover ticket for the participant and up to six guests.

Footplate Rides - £150.00

These will be available on 3rd, 8th and 9th September

There will also be a daily raffle for a footplate ride to be drawn at 2.30pm for the 3.00pm departure from Sheringham. Tickets are £3.00 each

The above are all on a first come basis and availability is limited.

Due to regulations all participants must be over 18 years of age and able bodied.
