Due to the postponement of Tornado's tour on the 3rd of November (now scheduled for 2011), 60163 will staying an extra week at the East Lancashire Railway and working service trains there over the weekend of 6/7th November.  The Trust is always grateful to the many preserved railways who have hosted Tornado in the past two years and it is a pleasure to repay their hospitality by working additional trains when the plan suddenly changes!

While Tornado has been based at the ELR she has clocked up her 30,000th mile in trafffic, somewhere near Heywood at noon today!
