One of Britain’s best known steam locomotives, the class A1 Pacific 60163
Tornado is due to make another visit to the West Somerset Railway at the end of June and will be operating trains over the 20 miles of line between Bishops Lydeard (near Taunton) and Minehead.
The locomotive is scheduled to arrive on the WSR on June 19
th and will operate trains as follows:
On June 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 28th, 29th and 30th it is due to head departures from Bishops Lydeard at 11.10 and 16.10 and Minehead at 14.15 and 17.45. On June 26th it is due to head departures from Bishops Lydeard at 10.25 and 14.25 and from Minehead at 12.25 and 16.05. Standard

Tornado is running. Driver Experience courses will be run on 20th, 24th, and 27th June with the loco on display in the bay platform at Bishops Lydeard - 25 June (non operational day).
