Now that the boiler is back on British soil, and strides are being made in Darlington to have it steam tested and re-clad within the next few weeks, it's all hands to the pump in Loughborough to ensure that the frames are aligned and other components are ready for reassembly. Pipework has been returned to the cab, the frames are painted, and the tender is all but complete, with ETCS changes made, and glossy new paintwork.
