Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we are delighted to report that The Boiler Club has now raised in excess of £500,000!

The first of the new boilers, intended for No. 2007 Prince of Wales, is due to be delivered to our new locomotive works this autumn. Before this, we need to reach our target of £600,000 to cover the cost of building the beating heart of the locomotive. As such, we need another 47 new Club members to hit our target before the boiler arrives at our brand new locomotive works later this year.

Just one of many components for the P2 due for delivery to Darlington this year, the boiler is making good progress once more at DB Meiningen. In the next few weeks, the boiler tubes will be fitted as this colossal component nears completion. Fundraising continues as we work towards the delivery date. Joining The Boiler Club is the best way to throw your support behind the construction of the beating heart of the locomotive. One-off contributions are also welcome as each donation takes us closer to the steaming of this titan.
