Following discussions with our operator DB Cargo, the trustees of The A1 Steam Locomotive Trust have decided to withdraw No. 60163 Tornado from traffic for the remainder of 2018 in order to complete the repairs and recertification of the locomotive to DBC’s satisfaction.

We will be advising passengers booked on ‘The Christmas Border Raider’ on Saturday 1st December on the arrangement for this train later this week.

The Trust would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any disappointment and inconvenience caused.
