Great strides have been made in Darlington and the support coach is now being re-assembled by the dedicated team at Hopetown. Since the building was originally a carriage works it is most appropriate that this work should be carried out there!
The body has been reskinned and is in the process of being filled, flatted and primed by Ian Matthews so we can expect the same degree of finish that Tornado sported when she made her debut at the NRM. The underframe has been painted and is now being equipped with the pipework for air, heat, etc., as well as brake gear. Progress can be viewed here.
