There are still some standard class tickets remaining for the London King's Cross to York (and return) leg of ‘The Scarborough Flyer’ on the 4th of June.
Passengers will have around five hours to explore the delights that the historic City of York has to offer, including the National Railway Museum, York Minster and the historic Shambles - York's oldest Street dating back over 900 years.
Our outbound journey will be hauled by No. 60163 Tornado with a train of vintage carriages and will travel from London King's Cross station along the East Coast Main Line to the magnificent York station. Passengers for York will alight the train here and No. 60163 Tornado will then continue her journey to the seaside destination of Scarborough. The return journey from York to London King's Cross will be hauled by an electric locomotive.
