To tie in with her first move in steam, Tony Wright of
British Railway Modelling has built an 00 gauge model of No. 60163
Tornado from a DJH kit, the construction of which will feature in the October issue of the magazine. The model has been built by Tony to full professional standards and painted by Ian Rathbone.

The model is now the subject of a 'sealed-bid' auction (starting bid £650), where interested parties can hand in their bid for it in a sealed envelope, with full contact details, addressed to A1 Auction, BRM, The Maltings, West Street, Bourne PE10 9PH or by hand at
The National Festival of Railway Modelling, East of England Showground, Peterborough on 18th & 19th October 2008, with all proceeds going to The A1 Steam Locomotive Trust.
All bids will be opened at 4:00pm on the Sunday at the BRM stand and the successful bidder (if present) will be presented with the locomotive by a representative of the Trust.
The model of No. 60163
Tornado will be visible on the BRM stand for inspection during the show and might well make the occasional appearance on Stoke Summit!
