Once again Tornado is to be entrusted with the VSOE British Pullman set for a Surrey Hills lunchtime special on Saturday. Glamorous and full of joie de vivre, the British Pullman carriages of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express originally ran on legendary 1920s services such as The Brighton Belle and Golden Arrow. Today, each one has been restored to its former glory, with exquisite Art Deco marquetry and table lamps that shed soft light on polished brass. Nostalgia, fun and a dash of adventure all come together as the train heads out of London on a day trip encircling the British countryside. Champagne flows and gourmet cuisine is served—a truly elegant experience. Timings are as follows:
